The longest running Fourth of July celebration west of the Mississippi continued its great tradition on Tuesday. Thankfully, cloudy skies, helped keep the temperature down and things more comfortable for our parade entrants! The Round Top community has celebrated the Fourth of July every year since 1851. Hearty parade participants smiled and tossed candy and trinkets to the children along the route. Our thanks to all the 100+ great volunteers that helped carry off a 173nd celebration that was fun and safe!
