Round Top's 4th of July parade is the longest continuously running parade west of the Mississippi.
Thousands come out each year to celebrate our nation's birthday in a great small town way. Round Top has been celebrating the 4th in a big way for 175 years. This year's event was no exception, as huge crowds came out to mark the 175th anniversary of this great community event.
This year's event....
A welcome cloud cover kept the temps down a bit, much appreciated by the hundreds of folks riding floats, cars, tractors and horses! A great crowd of spectators enthusiastically grabbed beads, trinkets, candy and popsicles. After the parade, more than a thousand folks came back to the Hall for a delicious BBQ dinner, music, and fun!
We hope you enjoy the pictures from this year's event.
