A lot of rain was still not enough to deter the longest running Fourth of July celebration west of the Mississippi! The Round Top community has celebrated the Fourth of July every year since 1851. Hearty parade participants endured a downpour throughout the parade, but still managed to smile and toss candy and trinkets to the children along the route. Our thanks to all the great volunteers that helped carry off a 171st celebration that was fun and safe!
